I don’t know about your kids, but my kids LOVE mac-n-cheese! It’s one of those meals that make childhood great. In the recipe below, I topped our mac-n-cheese with chives, bacon, and sour cream, but you can add anything your heart desires! Try adding BBQ chicken or even sausage. (Let’s all have a moment of silence for sausage. I think I just drooled on my keyboard.)
Another idea would be to create a mac-n-cheese bar with different toppings like more cheese, (Yes, please!), ham, diced peppers, or steak. This is a family favorite in our home. I think our kids love it because they get to create their own mac-n-cheese miracles (their words not mine).
